Serums and Oils work together beautifully when layered: apply a serum based on skin concerns, then seal and protect with a nourishing oil based on skin type. Quality serums offer higher concentrations of active ingredents that address specific concerns, such as wrinkles or discoleration, and penetrate deeper than oils. Oils nourish the top layer of the skin, strenghten its barrier, and lock in moisture. Since serums are generally water-soluble, it's important to protect the treatment with an oil or cream.
