Mozambique Garnet comes from the Niassa Province of Mozambique.

The warm, classic red of this Garnet is similar to that of Ruby.

Garnet’s name is derived from the Latin ‘granum’, which means ‘seed’, due to some Garnets’ resemblance to pomegranate seeds.

This pendant features:

• 74 x Round cut Natural Mozambique Garnet gemstones measuring approx. 1.75mm each with a combined minimum gemstone weight of 1.776ct.
• 20 x Round cut Natural Mozambique Garnet gemstones measuring approx. 2mm each with a combined minimum gemstone weight of 0.724ct.
• Total combined minimum gemstone weight for this piece is 2.50ct.
• Expertly crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold with a metal weight of 4.15 grams.

The pendant measures approx. 28.5mm in length and approx. 21mm wide.
The hidden bale has internal dimensions of approx. 3x2mm and can take chains up to 1mm.
This piece includes a belcher link chain measuring 1mm in width and 50cm in length. The chain features a bolt ring clasp.
