1.26ct Kings Plains Sapphire & Diamond Accent Graduated Ring 9ct Gold

Kings Plains Sapphires originate from its namesake Kings Plains in northern New South Wales. Discovered in 1854 they are renowned for their stunning royal-blue hues. Mined from the Wilson Gems Mine, these Sapphires have become increasingly rare, making them highly coveted. Their rich, vibrant colour and excellent brilliance make them a true standout in the world of gemstones. As the availability of these Sapphires dwindles, their value continues to rise, making them a precious and lasting symbol of Australian craftsmanship. During the late 1980s Australia was the largest Sapphire producer, supplying 70% of the world market. The word Sapphire comes from the Persian word Safir, deriving from the Greek word for blue and is the second hardest mineral on earth behind Diamond.

•  18 x Round cut Natural Diamond measuring approx. 1mm each with a combined minimum weight of 0.077ct.
• Total combined minimum gemstone weight for this piece is 1.343ct.
• Expertly crafted in 9ct Yellow or White Gold with a metal weight of 3.75grams.

The ring sits approx. 4mm above the finger and measures approx. 9mm down the finger.

The band measures approx. 2mm at the shoulder and approx. 2mm at the base.
