0.33ct Yellow & White Natural Diamond Flower Pendant 9ct Yellow Gold

Yellow diamonds have a bright shine with a warm hue and are breathtakingly beautiful! Yellow diamonds were rarely seen until their discovery in South Africa in the late 1860s. Yellow diamonds vary in colour from light yellow to the rarer and more expensive fancy yellow and all the way to the most sought after and most rare intense yellow and vivid yellow diamonds. Naturally yellow diamonds are found in the rough and graded according to the intensity of colour, their colour for the most part is due to nitrogen molecules which absorb blue light.

Each Diamond has its own complex characteristics which cannot be duplicated, and no two diamonds can ever be the same. Each stone, like its owner, is endowed with a personality and character uniquely its own. Diamonds have been used as decorative items and adorned as beautiful jewellery since ancient times; some of the earliest references can be traced to India.

This pendant features:

• 15 x Round Brilliant cut Natural Yellow Diamond measuring approx. 1.20-1.30mm with a total minimum weight of 0.12ct.
• 42 x Round Single cut Natural White Diamond measuring approx. 0.80-1.00mm with a total minimum weight of 0.13ct.
• 8 x Round Brilliant cut Natural White Diamond measuring approx. 1.10-1.40mm with a total minimum weight of 0.08ct.
• Total combined number of diamonds for this piece is 65, with a total combined minimum diamond weight of 0.33ct.
• Expertly crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold with a metal weight of 1.50grams.

The pendant measures approx. 19mm in length and approx. 14mm wide.
The bale has internal dimensions of approx. 3x2mm and can take chains up to 1mm.
This piece includes a belcher link chain measuring 1mm in width and 45-50cm in length. The chain features a bolt ring clasp.
