Our Burmese Ruby wonderfully displays their characteristic, medium pinkish-reds, a translucent brilliance with an eye-clean clarity, a stunning lustre, and deft lapidary. Ruby is one of the highest valued coloured gemstones, with large Rubies commanding higher prices than equivalently sized Diamonds. Rubies over one carat are rare, with the price for these stones increasing greatly. The most important sources for Ruby, Myanmar (Burma - Mogok, Mong Hsu regions) has a reputation and the experience that continues to unearth some of the world’s finest Rubies, this well-known Ruby source has a classic, undeniable quality pedigree that is incredibly old mined since the 6th century, Rubies were likely discovered in Burma’s Mogkok region by stone-age humans as early as 10,200 BC!

• 5 x Pear cut Burmese Myanmar Ruby gemstones measuring approx. 5x3mm each with a combined minimum gemstone weight of 1.19ct. 
• Expertly crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold with a metal weight of 1.13grams.

The pendant measures approx. 23.6mm in length and approx. 12mm wide.

The bale has internal dimensions of approx. 4x3mm and can take chains up to 2.5mm.
