Brazil is the principal source of gem-quality topaz. Although frequently associated with golden yellow and blue, it can be found in a variety of colours including colourless. The rarest are natural pink, red, and fine reddish orange, known as Imperial Topaz. Blue has become the most popular colour for topazes on the market today. However, almost all such gems began as colourless or pale blue topazes.

Citrine is a light greenish yellow tone and is a variety of the quartz family.

Garnet’s name is derived from the Latin ‘granum’, which means ‘seed’, due to some Garnets’ resemblance to pomegranate seeds. It is known for its beautiful deep warm red and its durability which allows anyone to appreciate the gemstone at anytime. Garnet is also known as the birthstone of January.

Peridot is one of the few gemstones that occur in only one color: an olive-green. The intensity and tint of the green, however, depends on the percentage of iron in the crystal structure, so the color of individual peridot gems can vary from yellow, to olive, to brownish-green.
