1.24ct Mozambique Garnet Pear Drop Pendant 9ct Yellow Gold

Mozambique Garnet comes from the Niassa Province of Mozambique. The warm, classic red of this Garnet is similar to that of Ruby. Garnet’s name is derived from the Latin ‘granum’, which means ‘seed’, due to some Garnets’ resemblance to pomegranate seeds.

One of the most affordable yet beautiful of all Garnets, Mozambique Garnet displays a timeless beauty, resembling both the Garnets of antiquity as well as the popular Bohemian Garnets of the 19th century.

This pendant features:

• 1 x Pear cut Natural Mozambique Garnet gemstones measuring approx. 8x6mm each with a combined minimum gemstone weight of 1.24ct.
• Expertly crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold with a metal weight of 1.20grams.

The pendant measures approx. 17mm in length and approx. 7.6mm wide.

The bale has internal dimensions of approx. 5x4mm and can take chains up to 2.5mm.
