A uniquely beautiful twist on an ancient gemstone, Turkish Purple Jade is only found in one place in the world; the Bursa Province in Turkey’s Marmara Region. The true emperor of Chinese jewelry, Jade was also prized in Aztec, Maori, Mayan, Native American, Olmec, and Toltec cultures. Incredibly beautiful, immensely collectable, and undeniably rare, Turkish Purple Jade is a treasured addition to any jewelry collection.

Jade sources include Australia, Burma, China, Guatemala, Japan, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey, and the USA. While the concentration of Jadeite in Turkish Purple Jade is 40 60 percent, it still has a similar scarcity and price as other lavender/purple Jadeites, as these are some of Jadeite’s rarest hues. As Turkish Purple Jade’s sole source is now depleted, it is extremely difficult to obtain. Once our supply is exhausted, there is no more. Given this historic rarity, Turkey is considering designating it a ‘National Heritage Stone’. Turkish Purple Jade is also totally natural and unenhanced.

• 1x Oval cut Cabochon Turkish Purple Jade gemstone measuring approx. 9x7mm, with a total minimum gemstone weight of 1.896ct.
• 4x Round cut Pink Sapphire gemstones measuring approx. 1.5mm, with a total minimum gemstone weight of 0.068ct.
• Total number of gemstones is 5, with a combined total minimum gemstone weight of 1.964ct.
• Expertly crafted in Sterling Silver with a metal weight of 2.25 grams.

The pendant measures approx 21mm in length including the bale, and approx 13mm wide.
The bale has internal dimensions of approx 4mm x 3mm and can take chains up to 2mm.
This piece includes a belcher link chain measuring 1.5mm in width and 50-55cm in length.
The chain features a parrot clasp.
