0.90ct Parti Sapphire & Ceylon Sapphire Floral Ring 9ct Yellow Gold

Parti sapphires, also known as polychrome sapphires, are sapphires that show more than one color in a single stone. These one-of-a-kind spectacular color displays is what makes these stones so difficult to replicate. Parti sapphires normally display varying combinations of blue, yellow and green. However, Australian sapphires can come in every shade of the rainbow, with no two parti sapphires ever really alike. While these color displays are naturally occurring, it takes a skilled gem cutter and jeweler to really bring the best out of the stone. Parti sapphires are predominantly found in Australia, a geographical region rich in unique gemstones with a prominent and successful ethical mining industry. However, they are sometimes sourced else where such as Madagascar, India, Sri Lanka and Kenya.

• 8 x Round cut Sri Lanka Ceylon Sapphire gemstones measuring approx. 2.3mm each with a combined minimum gemstone weight of 0.40ct.
• Total combined minimum gemstone weight for this piece is 0.90ct.
• Expertly crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold with a metal weight of 1.9grams.

The ring sits approx. 4.5mm above the finger and measures approx. 13mm down the finger.

The band measures approx. 1mm at the shoulder and approx. 1.8mm at the base.
