Mozambique Garnet comes from the Niassa Province of Mozambique. The warm, classic red of this Garnet is similar to that of Ruby. Garnet’s name is derived from the Latin ‘granum’, which means ‘seed’, due to some Garnets’ resemblance to pomegranate seeds.
One of the most affordable yet beautiful of all Garnets, Mozambique Garnet displays a timeless beauty, resembling both the Garnets of antiquity as well as the popular Bohemian Garnets of the 19th century.
These earrings feature:
- 2 x Round cut Natural Mozambique Garnet gemstones measuring approx. 4mm each with a combined minimum gemstone weight of 0.56ct.
- Expertly crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold with a metal weight of 0.58grams.
Each earring measures approx. 4mm in length and approx. 4mm wide.
The earrings are secured using a post and butterfly fitting - for pierced ears only.
