Care Instructions:
- Do not use in a microwave.
- Do not submerge hot cookware or the lid in cold water. Allow the items to cool down before placing it in (cold) water.
- Wash in warm soapy water before first usage.
- Heat settings are very important; low to medium heat settings are recommended to prevent the pan from becoming too hot, minimising carbonisation of food and oils.
- Note: after a while, there is a natural reduction of the nonstick properties. This process is accelerated by prolonged exposure of the nonstick surface to high heat, which causes the carbonisation of food and oil.
- Add a small amount of oil or butter when preheating.
- We recommend using silicone or wooden utensils to prolong the life of your coating.
- Use pan protectors to store your cookware; that way, you wont damage the non-stick coating.
- Clean your cookware after each use; leftover fats can carbonise fast.
- In case of a brownish layer (carbonisation), gently scrub with a melamine sponge and some plain water.
