Aquaporin Inside Reverse Osmosis

Purified ice-cubes

Worlds first! This water station can produce bullet-shaped ice cubes from freshly purified water. Every 8 minutes, 8 new cubes can be produced. That is 7kg of ice-cubes per 24 hours.

Perfectly chilled (5°C) on demand

A powerful compressor chills the purified water ice-cold, and ultra-cold-preservation technology keeps the water below 5°C for 3 hours. So you can enjoy truly ice-cold purified water on demand.

Hot water within seconds

True boiling (100°C is achieved inside the heating element) and instant heating technology deliver purified hot water within secondsmultiple temperatures available: chilled, ambient, 45°, 55°, 85°, 100°C.

UV-C LED keeps chilled water fresh

UV-C LED technology in the cold water tank activates every hour, inhibiting bacteria growth in the freshly filtered water by up to 99.9%.

Alkaline Mineralization

At the last stage in the purification process, the purified water is remineralised with calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium ions (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, Na+). This remineralisation process also raises the pH balance of the water to a level that is considered alkaline. Taste is highly subjective, but an alkaline buffer will make the purified water taste less flat.

Excellent filtration efficiency

Traditional RO processes typically waste a significant amount of water: usually 9 to 12 liters of water are wasted for every 3 liters of purified water produced. This can be an environmental concern, especially in areas with water scarcity. This Philips cartridge with Aquaporin Inside Reverse Osmosis technology offers excellent filtration efficiency: only 1 litre of water is wasted for every 3 litres of purified water produced.
