Charlie Bears was established in 2005 in North Yorkshire, before moving down to Cornwall in the South of England. The brand owned and run by husband and wife team Charlie and William Morris. Their continuing aim is to create handmade bears of the highest quality. Each bears warm, inviting and emotive face is the result of hours of skilled labor. Past and current Charlie Bears teddy bear artists include Isabelle Lee from Korea, Australian Lisa Rosenbaum and Kiwi Heather Lyell.

Charlie Bears Tolkien

Tolkien is a traditional style bear, from the 2023 Isabelle Collection. He has been created in a mixture of mohair and alpaca fur in a honey and chocolate tones, creating his panda look. Tolkien wears an antique look lace neck collar with hand beaded fabric ties. He has a hand embroidered waxed nose, mouth and tickly toe detailing upon his beautifully sculptured paw pads. This amazing character is limited to 300 pieces world-wide and will come with his very own numbered certificate as well as a navy-blue Isabelle Collection bag. Inside his travel box, you will find a Charlie Bears recipe card and a bear care leaflet.
