Charlie Bears was established in 2005 in North Yorkshire, before moving down to Cornwall in the South of England. The brand owned and run by husband and wife team Charlie and William Morris. Their continuing aim is to create handmade bears of the highest quality. Each bears warm, inviting and emotive face is the result of hours of skilled labor. Past and current Charlie Bears teddy bear artists include Isabelle Lee from Korea, Australian Lisa Rosenbaum and Kiwi Heather Lyell.

Moominpappa has been meticulously hand-crafted using luxurious white plush and finished with hand-stitched detailings. He is wearing his iconic black top hat.
