Charlie Bears was established in 2005 in North Yorkshire, before moving down to Cornwall in the South of England. The brand owned and run by husband and wife team Charlie and William Morris. Their continuing aim is to create handmade bears of the highest quality. Each bears warm, inviting and emotive face is the result of hours of skilled labor. Past and current Charlie Bears teddy bear artists include Isabelle Lee from Korea, Australian Lisa Rosenbaum and Kiwi Heather Lyell.

This little echidna is Sydney, from the Charlie Bears Bearhouse Bears Collection. Sydney has been created using different lengths of fur to create his spiked look. His long snout is indicitive of the echidna. Sydney has very shiny black eyes that sparkle away giving him a really sweet look that has been completed perfully with Charlie Bears signature who me? look.
