What is SkimGuard ALock Technology?

ALock is a dedicated blocking technology for any information stored on the 125kHz RF range. This range is widely adopted in RFID cards used for access control and loyalty cards. They are designed to give personalised access to locations such as hotel rooms, secure buildings, sensitive sites, and vehicles. Unfortunately, they have little to no encryption making them easy to clone. The ALock technology effectively blocks the 125kHz RF range so the card cannot be accessed by an unintended RFID reader.
