Boo Radley
Mixing fabrics and prints are what the Boo Radley team do best. Artistic, edgy designs almost resemble works of art. We talk to Brand Ambassador David Sibel about what it takes to create original garments for distinctive women.

What prompted your foray into the fashion industry?
A passion for people and creativity. I love meeting new people, exploring new ideas and contributing to the creative process.
How would you describe your creative process?
Collaborative. It takes a pool of different skilled professionals who bring a level of insight and expertise to create something original and exciting.
How would you describe your designs?
The brand's signature aesthetic melanges various fabrics into one garment, creating an overall style that has an artistic edge and is truly special. We like to create original garments for distinctive women.

Could you describe the construction of a selected style/piece?
It usually starts with a vision of using a mix of fabrics, colours and prints to create an effect. Then, of course, we must carefully consider the function of the garment. Ultimately, we build the piece around these two core elements.

"We, above all, pride ourselves on our originality of design and superb quality and craftsmanship, at a price point within most people's reach."

This Fashion Week at TVSN is all about ‘Powerhouse Prints.' How do you go about choosing/ designing your prints?
For us, it's really about the mix of prints rather than any individual print. Instead, we like to focus on the overall effect created through blending different colours and patterns. That way, the result is always something interesting and original.
Do you have favourite materials/colours/prints to work with?
We love to work with high-quality natural fibres, like cotton and silk.
What is your favourite fashion garment/ accessories/ article and why?
Outerwear. You can layer it up and have a lot of fun with it. There's plenty to work with, and you can get as creative as you like. The options are limitless.

What can TVSN customers look forward to for the launch of Spring/Summer?
Dramatic styles! Like colourful printed silk shirts.
