Guest Spotlight with
Eve Pearl
We caught up with Eve Pearl to chat about all things beauty.

1. Where did your love for the beauty industry start?
My love for beauty started in high school. I helped out with makeup for backstage in the high school plays which was so much fun. It was also when I had a lot of skin issues and became a mad-scientist experimenting with formulas trying to relieve my skin concerns!
2. What inspired you to start Eve Pearl Cosmetics?
My career really started to fl ourish when I was the makeup artist on a TV show called The View. There were so many different women, of different ages, all with different skin concerns. From this experience, I came up with my Dual Salmon concealer to curb people using yellow tone concealers to correct under eye darkness which did not translate well on live TV. I revolutionized the use of the “Salmon” shade as an under eye concealer to neutralize discoloration and brighten the area.
3. If you could recommend one beauty tip, what would it be and why?
Use concealer closer to your foundation colour. The purpose of a concealer is not to highlight, so choose a shade close to your skin tone because you don’t want the colour to be too bright and bring attention to the area.
4. What is one makeup item you can’t live without?
Liquid Eyeliner! It’s the fastest way to look polished.
5. How is Eve Pearl Cosmetics different to other brands in the beauty industry?
My goal is to create high-quality products that are simple and efficient to use. As a Makeup Artist, I got tired of carrying around a huge kit of makeup with way too many products and steps. My aim is to make Professional Grade Makeup that is developed for simplicity. I want things to work for you!
6. What inspires you?
I get inspired when people tell me I can’t do something. I work harder because it motivates me to make it happen.
7. What are you most thankful for?
I am really thankful for my health and my family. I think it’s important to re-evaluate what is important in life and I am grateful that I get to do what I love and help others feel empowered.
