During a research trip to South America, I came across an indigenous community where women were known for their think, strong, healthy hair. The secret to their amazing hair was in the water of the river where they bathe every day: the Amazonian White Clay. I was so impressed by their hair that I took a sample of this clay back to the US and brought it to the lab for research.
