Established in 1965 by founder Maura Hughes, the company was born out of a passion for Irish craft, tradition, and community. Hughes’ vision was not only to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Irish knitting but also to create local employment. Today, Aran Woollen Mills remains one of the few thriving textile companies, continuing to design and manufacture premium knitwear collections in Ireland, bringing the timeless beauty of Aran knitwear from Westport to the world.

• This crew neck patchwork sweater is part of our tri-colour story featuring natural, cool hues, which reflect the wild autumnal ocean scape of the West of Ireland - our new Feather Grey, complemented by Ocean Grey and Classic Aran
• Drop shoulders and a relaxed fit provide a more contemporary box shape
• Traditional Aran stitch patterns are incorporated into this design such as cables, honeycomb, trellis, diamond, hugs and kisses, with moss stitch at the side edges for a smooth finish
• A chunky double crew neck in 2x2 rib delivers extra cosiness and warmth
• The sweater is finished with a 1x1 cable pattern at the hem and cuffs
• Style with trousers and boots or shoes for a trendy workwear look or pair with jeans and trainers for a more casual vibe
• Knitted in our own factory in Ireland in 5 gauge 100% Supersoft Merino

Handwash only. Turn inside out before washing. Use mild detergent. Do not rub, wring, spin, tumble dry or bleach. Reshape whilst damp, dry flat. Cool iron in reverse.
